  Carl Hartmann  , board member   Cofounder & CEO of  Temando ; an intelligent shipping platform that helps retailers manage the fulfilment process. Carl took Temando from an idea to one of the largest Australian technology companies, having raised over $56M in funding, through to a successful acquisition in a trade sale to publicly listed French company Neopost S.A. in 2017. Carl has recently co-founded  Shortlyster , an intelligent recruitment platform and is also the adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Queensland; and was IBM Global Entrepreneur of the Year Australia in 2014.

  Elias Bizannes, board member    Elias Bizannes is the founder of San Francisco incubator space   StartupHouse , the international bootcamp,  StartupBus , and he also created Australia's  Silicon Beach . He previously worked at VC firm    Charles River Ventures , search engine startup     Vast.com , and professionals services firm  PwC  .

  Maria Sipka, board member   Recognized as one of the leading women in technology by Forbes, Maria Sipka is the president and co-founder of  Linqia , the first performance-based influencer marketing platform. Linqia’s HQ is in Silicon Valley (with offices in New York & Chicago) was founded in 2011 powering influencer programs for over 200 leading national brands. A serial entrepreneur, Maria was a founding team member at XING (Europe’s leading business network) exiting shortly after its IPO (today’s market cap of €1BN).

Recognized as one of the leading women in technology by Forbes, Maria Sipka is the president and co-founder of Linqia, the first performance-based influencer marketing platform. Linqia’s HQ is in Silicon Valley (with offices in New York & Chicago) was founded in 2011 powering influencer programs for over 200 leading national brands. A serial entrepreneur, Maria was a founding team member at XING (Europe’s leading business network) exiting shortly after its IPO (today’s market cap of €1BN).

  Geoff McQueen, founding board member   CEO of  Accelo , a powerful and easy-to-use cloud-based professional service automation (PSA) platform. A strong voice in the Aussie community, he wrote the  definitive guide  on navigating E3 applications. A  founding mentor of  Startmate  and former director of the  Illawarra Hawks , Geoff splits his time between San Francisco and Wollongong (where Accelo's AU team is based).

  Patrick Collins,   founding board member   Patrick is CEO and founder of  Mokonut , a mobile app data and insights business, and is currently General Manager at  Moovweb . He was previously CEO and co-founder of 5th Finger which sells Enterprise Mobile solutions to large Retailers. 5th Finger had a successful exit to Merkle in 2012. Was previously CTO at Fairfax Digital and led mobile at Ninemsn. He has lived in East Bay since 2008.

Kate  has been involved with tech communities for many years, helping to create and organize Down Under New York Tech, Silicon Beach Melbourne and one of AU's longest-running meetups, Socialmelb.
